Fly fishing on the Gallatin River

Spent a chilly Summer morning on the Gallatin River with a good buddy, learning a little bit about fly fishing and a whole lot about what it means to pursue what you love. After a good half hour of shooting from the riverbanks, I’d had enough of not being able to capture the action close-up and decided to wade in. The water was far from warm, but standing in the flow of the river, the peacefulness was undeniable and it started to make sense to me why people fall in love with that way of life. Check out the photos from that morning below and the little video I put together.
